Carnelian
Carnelian is a collaborative group of singers engaging audiences with superlative choral music to tell stories, spark connections, and transform listeners.
Rooted in the western choral tradition, Carnelian explores expanding repertoire including Renaissance polyphony, American shape note hymns and folk songs, Russian sacred music, and new compositions by contemporary composers.
We believe in the power of music to empower individuals and strengthen communities, and welcome opportunities to collaborate with schools and non-profit organizations.
Musical Leadership Collective
Musical Leadership Collective seeks to create a collaborative space for musicians to ask questions and share insights about their practice. Together, its members create a community of practice, interacting regularly with one another. The group engages in activities that invite members to reflect on their roles as musical leaders, ponder difficult questions and issues facing the profession, and offer support for peers.
