Believing firmly in the ability for choral singing to create community, Robin has extensive experience directing intergenerational ensembles, where choir members ranging in age from young children to mature voices sing alongside one another.

In addition to creating innovative concert programs and directing on tour, Robin has recorded three studio albums of choral music, commissioning and premiering several works by living composers.

An enthusiastic and encouraging musical leader, she is in-demand as a coach for conductors and clinician for choral ensembles, most recently for the Off-Broadway production of Novenas for a Lost Hospital (Rattlestick Theatre, New York, NY).

An award-winning educator, Robin creates a personalized approach for each student, blending technique, musicality, and self-expression.

Her recent publications address topics of connection and humanization through the virtual choir; motherhood in the COVID-19 pandemic; hospitality and inclusion in choral singing; and social emotional learning in the choral classroom.

She has presented papers, lectures, and workshops on topics within choral pedagogy and music education.
